Because we all need to remember that life doesn’t have to be as serious as we sometimes make it out to be.
After I started letting drawing and painting become a larger part of my life, I realized that, as I created, that I would smile when I introduced huge melting candy and ice cream…but why…something inside me, beyond words or thoughts, knew the intrinsic joy of making serious things less serious, as one’s inner child would likely prefer. When we were kids we didn’t care that food was melting, we kept enjoying it regardless - as “adults” however, more often than not, we might find melting food to be chaos that needs to be fixed immediately…May we let ourselves enjoy life as when we were kids eating a half melted popsicle with a smile on our face.
Whatever your profession may be, may the melting food be your tool/expertise in your mission. You may be a healthcare provider, you may be a plumber, or a dancer - the melting ice cream or candy represents your tool/expertise, and may the melting remind us that we’ll always enjoy it even more when we relax just a bit. Let the fun begin.
